E2, (4E1) Opti Multiplexer, which
multiplexes / demultiplexes 4, E1 channels and transports it on optical
fiber cable.
The 8 Mb/s Optical Line Terminal
and the 2/8 Mb/s Digital Multiplexer are implemented in a single card, as a
integrated solution. This equipment by-passes the 8MB Electrical Output to
directly provide an optical output (laser - 30dbm margin) for the
multiplexed 4, E1 channels and vice versa.
